KEYSTONE, Colo.—A 15-year-old skier was taken to a Denver hospital Monday after he hit a tree at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area.

Resort officials say the Canadian teen hit the tree on the Lower Ramrod run about 8:25 a.m. while he was race training.

He was taken by ambulance to St. Anthony Central Hospital.

His name has not been released, and the extent of his injuries is unknown.
