Getting your player ready...
With all the talking to be done at holiday parties, the last thing you want to do is bring a conversation — or encounter under the misletoe — to an end with bad breath. Here are some natural flavors that can be used to keep the party going, courtesy of the International Conference on Breath Odor Research:
Garlic is diffused with parsley, as the plant’s natural oils neutralize the scent;
Coffee breath can be tamed with Big Red Gum. Cinammon’s germ-killing properties cut bacteria 80 percent.
Meat mouth is minimized with mint floss, which helps remove those decaying slivers of beef.
Cheese breath is dissolved with black tea. Sipping tea rinses away proteins, and its antibacterial properties reduce plaque.
