COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police on Saturday were investigating a possible case of abuse after a 3-month-old boy was taken to a hospital with a head injury.
Police Lt. Sal Fiorillo said the boy’s condition is serious but not life-threatening.
The boy arrived at Memorial Hospital on Thursday with apparent seizures, and an examination revealed signs of a severe head injury.
Fiorillo said an accident has not been ruled out as the cause of the injury. The child’s name has not been released.
