SPOKANE, Wash. — Matt Martin scored 15 points and made 3-of-4 free throws in the final 30 seconds as Montana held off Air Force in the Cougar Hispanic College Fund Challenge.
Cameron Rundles added 13 points for the Grizzlies (4-2), who saw a 23-point second-half lead dwindle to one point in the final minutes against the Falcons (5-1).
Anwar Johnson scored a game-high 19 points for Air Force.
After Jordan Hasquet’s basket gave Montana a 52-44 lead, Air Force scored seven straight, capped by Johnson’s inside move to cut the UM lead to 52-51 with 1:26 left.
