WICHITA, Kan. — P.J. Couisnard’s 14 points and 14 rebounds led Wichita State to a victory over Wyoming.
Matt Braeuer added 17 points for the Shockers (3-2).
Brad Jones led the Cowboys with 22 points.
Wyoming (2-2) led during the early parts of the first half until Wichita State went on a 13-0 run to take a 20-12 lead. The Cowboys never led again.
The Shockers gradually pulled away in the second half, thanks in part to their 3-point shooting. They were 4-for-9 from behind the arc in the second half.
