Barack Obama is hoping that Oprah Winfrey, the talk- show host who has encouraged millions to read more, eat less and in other ways improve themselves, can help him win voters. Winfrey will campaign with Obama in Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Dec. 8, then visit Columbia, S.C., and Manchester, N.H., the next day, Obama’s campaign announced Monday.
