LONGMONT, Colo.—Hard-disk-drive maker Seagate Technology plans to add more than 100 jobs at its Longmont design center by the end of the year, bringing total employment there to about 1,700.
It will be the largest single increase in the Longmont operation’s work force since Seagate acquired rival Maxtor Corp. and merged the two companies’ Longmont operations. That acquisition was completed in May 2006.
Seagate completed an 82,000-square-foot addition to its Longmont campus last summer.
