At least a dozen vehicles in Wheat Ridge were vandalized early Sunday morning, and police are looking for suspects.
Windows were broken and mirrors ripped off from parked vehicles between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. in neighborhoods west of Wadsworth Boulevard between West 33rd and West 47th avenues, police said.
A witness told police she saw a red Jeep with four men in it leaving the area of West 33rd Avenue and Wright Street after she heard glass breaking at about 1:30 a.m.
Police estimate the damage in excess of $7,000. No one has reported anything being stolen from inside the damaged vehicles.
The suspect, or suspects, probably used a baseball bat to smash the windows and mirrors, police said.
Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to call the Wheat Ridge Police Department at 303 237-2220.
