The FBI is looking for two men suspected of robbing at least three metro area banks within the past two months. The suspects attempted to rob another.

In at least one of the robberies, one of the men was armed, the FBI said. The most recent robbery was on Monday in Broomfield.

The robbers have worn distinctive clothes during the heists and the FBI released security photos hoping the public will recognize the pair.

At about 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 20 an armed robber leaped over the counter of a TCF Bank in Arvada and stole cash, the FBI said. One suspect in this robbery wore a black wig, blue jeans, a green camouflage jacket and gloves.

About 15 minutes earlier on Oct. 20, investigators suspect the same robber entered a Wachovia bank in Wheat Ridge and demanded cash from a teller. This attempt was not successful.

At about 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 28 two suspects entered a TCF bank in Westminster at West 72nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard and leaped over a counter to steal cash. The suspects in the robbery wore hoodies.

On Monday investigators believe the same men hit a TCF bank in Broomfield at 4100 W. 144th Ave., A cash reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest of the suspects. Anyone with information on the robberies is asked to call the FBI at 303-629-7171.
