DENVER—Denver International Airport is reporting record passenger numbers for October.

Denver officials said Monday that 4.2 million passengers passed through the facility in October which set a record for the busiest October. The total was a 5.2 percent increase over the October 2006 total of 4 million passengers.

The officials say 42.1 million passengers traveled through DIA in the first 10 months which is a 4.7 percent increase over the same period in 2006.
