The Broncos extended the contract of another player — the second in five days — when they re-signed backup linebacker Jamie Winborn today to a two-year extension.
Winborn was signed earlier this season to a one-year contract. Terms of the new deal were not announced but there was no new money worked into the 2007 contract.
Winborn has been a special teams ace and is expected to compete for a starting spot next season after spending training camp in the Broncos’ system.
