When it comes to excitement in the outdoors, it’s hard to beat the experience of the Eskew sisters, Hannah and Elisha. Hunting with their father, Lane, these sixth-generation Coloradans experienced a degree of success that would make anyone proud.
Despite wearing an upper-body brace, 14-year-old Hannah made a long sneak to bag a 6×6 mule deer with a 26-inch rack.
Sister Elisha, 12, bagged a limit of ducks during Colorado’s special youth season using a single-shot 20-gauge. The girls, who live east of Fort Collins, raise pigs for 4-H and miniature donkeys just for the fun of it.
