A family of three at a graduation usually means two people are in attendance to support the one who is graduating. Not in the case of the Buell family. Danea Buell, 22; Joshua Buell, 25; and Darla Buell, 48, above, prepare their caps and gowns before Metropolitan State College’s graduation ceremonies Sunday afternoon at the Colorado Convention Center. Darla graduated with a degree in integrative therapeutic practices; Joshua with a double major in biology and chemistry; and Danea with a degree in behavioral science. The 1,064 students who graduated Sunday made up Metro’s largest fall class, according to the school’s website.
