Colorado College forward Tiffany Brown was selected this week as a freshman All-American by .
Brown, who made the all-freshman fourth team, led the Tigers with 21 points in 2007 on nine goals and three assists. Brown was exceptional late in games, scoring four game-winning goals in the Tigers’ 10 victories. She was one of 54 freshmen recognized by ., which also named her to the Central Region all-freshman team earlier this year.
Rage extends lead.
The Rocky Mountain Rage extended its division lead over the rival Colorado Eagles, winning 3-1 in a Central Hockey League game Wednesday night at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland.
David Morelli and Clay Plume scored during the third period for the Rage, breaking a 1-1 tie. Rocky Mountain improved to 19-3.
