Navy erased a nine-point halftime deficit and scored on five of its final six possessions in overtime Saturday to defeat Air Force 72-69 at Alumni Hall in Annapolis, Md.

Air Force (6-6), which led 32-23 after the first half, had a chance to tie the game with nine seconds remaining in overtime, but Pamela Findlay’s 3-point attempt missed. Findlay, a 5-foot-11 senior, led the Falcons with a career-high 23 points. She played the game’s entire 45 minutes.

Navy (3-10) received 11 points and 11 rebounds from Cassie Consedine.

New Mexico State 77, Colorado State 67

  • FORT COLLINS – Sherell Neal scored a game-high 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and the Aggies hit nine 3-pointers in defeating the Rams at Moby Arena.

    Kandy Beemer’s 3-pointer three minutes into the second half helped Colorado State (2-11) tie the score at 40-40. But New Mexico State (9-3) responded with a 7-0 run. Britney Minor’s 16 points and eight rebounds led the Rams. Beemer added 12 points.
