San Luis Valley authorities have arrested Adrian William Romero, a Denver resident, on suspicion of selling cocaine.
The arrest was the result of an undercover operation conducted by an agent of the San Luis Valley Drug Task Force. The agent and Conejos County sheriff’s deputies took the suspect into custody in Conejos County on Dec. 22.
Romero, 29, allegedly sold about a quarter ounce of cocaine. The task force recovered the cocaine and about a quarter ounce of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and about $620 in cash.
Conejos County Sheriff Robert Gurule “is expecting more arrests,” according to a release.
