A foot injury will sideline Colorado State senior 7-foot center Stuart Creason for Saturday’s 3 p.m. Mountain West Conference men’s basketball opener with UNLV.

Creason, averaging 12.2 points and 6.4 rebounds and the team’s only returning starter, has struggled for weeks after a teammate stepped on his foot in practice. Creason’s foot was stepped on again this week.

The injury leaves the Rams, already in a three-guard lineup, with the tallest starting player, freshman Andre McFarland, generously listed at 6-6.
