Getting your player ready...
While many fans will be snacking on hot wings during Saturday’s Seahawks-Packers NFC playoff game in Green Bay, Seahawks kicker Josh Brown will have the hot legs.
What’s that? A new type of snack? Perhaps a performance enhancer of some kind? It is the playoffs, after all — teams are looking for any advantage.
No. According to the Associated Press, Brown says he’ll wear heated warm-up pants in the freezing weather.
His pants will be equipped with battery-powered heaters for his calves, thighs and hamstrings. As the temperature drops during the late afternoon game, Brown’s legs will remain a balmy 75 degrees.
Here’s hoping he doesn’t get too cold running out on the field, sans heated warm-ups, to kick. That’d be a shame.
