Each book is devoted to a region (south- central, southwest, north-central) and starts with tips on four-wheel-driving techniques before featuring listings with detailed driving directions, GPS coordinates, sights and sites along the way and links for other resources, including hazards and other information you need in case the drive gets ugly. Photographs and simple route maps enhance the well-researched books.
