Lockheed Martin is “seriously considering a number of options” for participation in another Aerial Common Sensor competition to develop a new spy plane for the U.S. Army. The Army in 2006 canceled Lockheed Martin’s $879 million contract to build the spy plane after the company ran into problems with costs and aircraft size.
