SAN FRANCISCO—A public hearing at San Francisco City Hall, and a court hearing, are set for today over that fatal Christmas Day tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo.
Zoo representatives are expected to appear at City Hall this morning to answer questions about the attack.
Later, city officials are expected to argue they should be allowed to inspect personal items belonging to the three victims.
The 350-pound Siberian tiger named Tatiana was born in Denver in 2003, and donated to the San Francisco Zoo in 2005.
Documents filed with the court show that city officials believe cell phones, clothing and the car belonging to the victims could contain proof that they taunted the tiger.
Seventeen-year-old Carlos Sousa Junior was killed in the attack.
