Getting your player ready...
FORT COLLINS — Brigham Young took advantage of an error-prone Colorado State squad and got a game-high 13 points from freshman Coriann Wood to win its Mountain West opener at Moby Arena.
Colorado State (2-13, 0-2) committed 23 turnovers. Brigham Young (7-6, 1-0) went on a 13-0 run to end the first half.
“Our offense was their offense,” Rams coach Jen Warden said. “I don’t care how tough players are, there are a lot of things you can do with the ball besides turning it over.”
