ROME — An avalanche in the Alps killed four young Italian men who were riding motorized sleds, and seven people were injured, Italian state radio said early today.
Three bodies were found Sunday evening after the avalanche crashed down from Mt. Maniva in the province of Brescia, police said. State radio reported early today that the fourth fatality was a man who died of his injuries after being taken to a hospital.
