West Virginia running back Steve Slaton will forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft. After setting West Virginia’s school record with 1,733 yards rushing two years ago, Slaton ran for 1,051 yards this past season to surpass 1,000 for the third straight season.
• Penn State cornerback Justin King will skip his senior season and enter the draft.
