PUEBLO, COLO. — Five Pueblo County residents are undergoing treatment for tuberculosis, and two of them may have had the disease before.

The Pueblo City-County Health Department says the victims include four men and one women. Three of the men are homeless.

Health Department Director Chris Nevin-Woods said Tuesday that one of the men had tuberculosis before, and doctors had thought he was cured.

The woman told officials she may have been exposed to tuberculosis as a child. Officials say they are checking her records to see if she had the disease before.
