DAVID CITY, Neb.—A Colorado woman was killed when her vehicle collided with a tractor trailer hauling hay south of town.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office said Sandra Gridley, 51, of Golden, Colo., pulled out from a stop sign onto State Highway 92 and into the path of the rig. She was pronounced at a local hospital following the Tuesday morning crash.
Authorities did not say whether the driver of the tractor trailer, 36-year-old Ronald Turner of Hazelwood, Mo., was hurt.
