An appellate court on Wednesday asked a district court to “provide a more extensive explanation for its decision” in approving a class-action settlement between Qwest and the New England Health Care Employees Pension Fund.
The settlement was appealed by former Qwest CEO Joe Nacchio and former CFO Robert Woodruff, who weren’t included in the agreement. The settlement stems from one of a number of lawsuits Qwest faced related to the company’s stock collapse during Nacchio’s era.
