A Westin hotel will open at Denver International Airport, Mayor John Hickenlooper announced today.
Westin Hotels & Resorts will build a 500-room luxury hotel at DIA. It will be built at the southeast corner of the airport terminal and will include meeting and conference space, restaurants, a health club, a swimming pool and a parking garage.
Hickenlooper said in a written statement that the hotel will enhance the airport’s capacity to accommodate business and leisure travelers.
DIA manager Turner West said in a statement that customers have consistently requested an on-airport hotel.
