Trista and Ryan Sutter are going for two.
“We’ve started trying!” she tells US Weekly about having a second baby.
The Vail couple, who met on ABC’s “The Bachelorette” in 2003 and were married on an ABC special a year later, had a baby boy, Max, on July 26. It was a difficult birth — but T&R are ready to go again.
“We wanted to wait for a while because I was really sick during my first pregnancy,” Trista says. “But I’d love to have babies close in age. And it took us so long the first time that if it takes us two years, then that will be fine. I’d love to have a girl. I’m a girlie-girl, and I would love to take a little girl shopping.”
Us Weekly has a lock on Trista stories: tracking her delivery, recovery, weight loss — and now the news of her in-shape body in a bikini on a trip to Maui with Ryan and Max.
Ryan says her new size 2 figure works for him. “We can go snowshoeing or hiking, and she doesn’t constantly have to take breaks. She’s more athletic, and her butt looks great!”

This is always an interesting time in Aspen. Gay Ski Week folds the tent Sunday — and then ESPN Winter X Games hits town Tuesday. Two ships — and two of the wildest weeks in Glamour Gulch all year.
Gay Ski Week brought comedians and performers such as Miss Richfield 1981, Marga Gomez, Vidur Kapur and Jason Stuart. Former NBA star John Amaechi was in town for a Thursday night cocktail party with GLAAD prexy Neil Giuliano. And of course, at noon today is the Downhill Costume Competition, which is always the strangest day on the slopes.
The X Games, which air live on ESPN, will feature a slew of the kid stars. Dinosaur Jr. opens it up with a free concert Thursday night on Aspen Mountain. Carmelo Anthony is expected to hit the hottest clubs and private parties (and an ESPN interview) Thursday night with Rhett Jordan and Chris Robuck of Faces of Entertainment.
It’s what’s for dinner.
Cowpokes in town head to Cap Grille, Morton’s, Elway’s and Del Frisco’s for stock show steak. And some might try the Beef Tasting Dinner at Highland’s Garden Cafe: mini burger, rare tenderloin, short ribs, seared sweetbreads, grilled sirloin — and truffles, strawberries and brownies, $65.
