DENVER—The State Patrol has reported two fatalities in separate accidents on icy and snowy roads.
Both accidents occurred Friday night.
In El Paso County, a woman was killed after ejected when she lost control of her car and it rolled south of Colorado Springs. Edith Hinkle, 59, of Colorado Springs, was subsequently hit by another vehicle.
Master Trooper Ron Watkins said the driver of an SUV involved in a collision with another SUV west of the Eisenhower Tunnel on Interstate 70 died of injuries after being hit by a third car while waiting at the accident site. He was identified as Michael Albert, 54, of Omaha, Neb.
