A 33-year-old Kansas man was pronounced dead after a snowboard accident at the Breckenridge ski resort today.
The snowboarder, who hasn’t been identified yet, was wearing a helmet, Breckenridge spokeswoman Nickie DeFord said.
Few details are available at this time, DeFord said.
The accident happened at about 1:51 p.m. in the Park Lane Terrain Park on the intermediate run. “He hit a jump,” DeFord said.
Ski patrol provided life support and transported the victim to the Breckenridge Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is being investigated.
