Nuggets guard Allen Iverson is probable for tonight’s game even though he will be playing with a left wrist injury suffered Monday against the Lakers.
“I think it happened on one of the falls,” Iverson said this morning of this injury.
Iverson sat out today’s shootaround, often holding his wrist. He said he will have X-rays taken this afternoon.
Forward Carmelo Anthony will miss the game because of a ankle sprain sustained in Monday’s game. Anthony said today expects to be back no later than a week.
Edwardo Najera (elbow) remains questionable, but coach George Karl hopes he can persuade the forward to play. Najera said after the shootaround he has considerable pain in his right elbow.
