AURORA — Police were investigating an apparent homicide Wednesday night at the King’s Inn, 11800 E. Colfax Ave. Workers at the inn found the body of a woman about 5:30 p.m. in a room on the third floor, police Detective Shannon Lucy said.
The unidentified woman suffered major trauma to her upper body, but police would not specify what could have caused her death.
Workers checked the woman’s room after a relative of hers was unable to reach her and determined that she had not shown up for work, Lucy said.
