Aquila Networks-PNG will refund about $8.85 million to its Colorado natural-gas customers next month as part of a plan approved by regulators Thursday.
The refund stems from an over-collection of gas costs paid by Aquila customers from July 1, 2006, to June 30, 2007. The one-time refund will be based on customers’ billed usage plus interest during the over-collection period.
