High school sports: Ice hockey (defenseman); golf (2007 Class 4A regional winner); and baseball (pitcher-catcher).

Grade-point average: 3.79.

My favorite subject: Physics. I’m interested in motion and how things work, see what kinetically is going on.

My favorite athlete: Ray Bourque.

My favorite team: Avalanche.

What I listen to: Classic rock and a little modern rap.

Pregame ritual: I listen to the same CD, a mix.

Time management tip: Be committed — once you start something, finish it, especially with homework. And if you work out, do it 100 percent.

Planned career: Business.

My family: Parents Beth Knutson and Steve Gustafson, sister Sarah, brother Dayton.

I would love to visit: Whistler, British Columbia, to ski.

What I like most about high school sports: I would say hockey was a big standpoint for me; playing for your school, being in that atmosphere and the opportunity to compete at a competitive level is awesome.

What I like least about high school sports: Opposing coaches get so bent out of shape, they get real rowdy sometimes.
