A 25-year-old man was in grave condition with a stab wound to the head following a street fight in Wheat Ridge late last night.
Authorities have a possible suspect and are searching for him, according to Lisa Stigall, Wheat Ridge police spokeswoman.
Just after 11 p.m., Wheat Ridge police received a report of multiple people fighting in the street in front of a home at 6075 W. 29th Ave., Stigall said.
When police arrived they did not see anyone but did find blood on a nearby road, she said.
Soon afterward, the police received a call from St. Anthony Central Hospital and were told the stabbing victim from the street fight was under care at the hospital, Stigall said.
The current condition of the victim, whose identity has not been released, was unknown to police, she said.
