The Rocky Mountain Rage had seven players score goals in a 7-1 road victory over Youngstown on Saturday night in Central Hockey League action.
One night after falling to the SteelHounds, the Rage avoided its first losing streak this season and improved to a CHL-best 28-6-3 record.
David Morelli and Nathan Rosychuk scored in the first period, and the Rage put the game out of reach in the second, scoring four goals. Daymen Rycroft scored his league-leading 33rd goal and extended his goal-scoring streak to nine games.
Eagles beat Arizona again.
Riley Nelson and Greg Pankewicz each scored short-handed goals to lead the Colorado Eagles of the CHL past Arizona 4-2 for their second straight win in the series.
Colorado College falls.
Michigan Tech became the first hockey team this season to earn three points in a weekend series against Colorado College with a 5-2 victory, one night after a 2-2 tie against the Tigers.
Western State defeats defending champs.
The sixth-ranked Western State wrestling team defeated defending national champion and third-ranked Central Oklahoma 27-12 in the final dual of the Tracy Borah Duals in Gunnison. Western State finished 4-0 on the day and improved to 12-2-1 this season.
