A dog bit a man and girl in Arapahoe County over the weekend, and when deputies arrived the scene they had to use a Taser to subdue the animal.
Arapahoe County deputies were called out on Saturday about 2:30 p.m. to investigate reports that a black lab mix had bitten a 50-year-old man on the leg while he was jogging, and bitten a 12-year-old girl on the leg when she walked by on the sidewalk.
When deputies arrived, the dog charged one of them. They cornered the dog in its back yard, and a second deputy tried to subdue the dog. It charged again, and the second deputy used the Taser.
Deputies took the dog to an animal shelter and left a note for its owner.
The girl was treated at a hospital and released.
It was unclear whether charges would be filed in the incident.
