Aurora police have identified a 22-year-old Denver resident who was hit by a car in Aurora on Saturday as Gary Oliver Chavez.
Police said a 71-year-old man driving a pickup apparently ran a red light on South Parker Road, then veered into a crosswalk.
Driving north, the pickup driver, Richard Elliot of Elizabeth, swerved to the right, striking Chavez, then three other vehicles stopped at the intersection near South Peoria Street.
Chavez died at nearby hospital a half hour later.
Police said Monday no charges have been filed in the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
