Saturday. The Wildlife Experience adds to this weekend’s sports madness with Kids Bowl on Saturday. The day-long celebration of all things athletic isn’t just about football. Young sports fans can test their free- throw skills, try the quarterback toss, take a skiing lesson and even play a couple of holes of mini-golf. There are also crafts, a bouncy house and a scavenger hunt in case sports aren’t your thing. The museum’s regular exhibits will be open, too — there’s so much to do, you could stay all day. 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The Wildlife Experience, 10035 S. Peoria St., Parker; 720-488-3300. Kids Bowl is included in regular admission price: $7.95 for adults, $6.95 for seniors over age 65, $4.95 for children ages 2 to 12. Kids under 2 and museum members are admitted free.

Tonight-Saturday. It’ll be an elegant night to remember at the Highlands Ranch Community Association’s Father and Daughter Sweetheart Ball. Little ladies and their dads are invited to dance the night away at the Highlands Ranch Mansion — get gussied up and the rest is done. Each girl will receive a corsage, a personalized invitation and a father-daughter photo, plus refreshments and fancy valet parking. It’s all included in the ticket price. If the weather’s nice, horse-drawn carriage rides will also be available for $3 per person. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Highlands Ranch Mansion, 9900 S. Ranch Road. Today-Thursday. Couldn’t get tickets to the Hannah Montana concert last fall? Fans have another chance to see her, starting today, when “Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert” opens at movie theaters around town. The concert film features Disney superstar Cyrus performing both as her alter ego, Hannah, and as herself. Teen heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers also make an appearance during the show. Guess what else? It’s in 3D, so it’s almost as good as being there. The movie runs for one week only, so get tickets in advance, if possible, on a website like . Times vary by theater, tonight through Thursday. Theaters include the UA Denver Pavilions 15 (500 16th St.), AMC Highlands Ranch 24 (103 Centennial Road) and the AMC Westminster Promenade (10655 Westminster Blvd.). Ticket prices vary.

Tonight-Saturday. Bigfoot is very, very real. Ask any kid who grew up in the ’80s — the gigantic monster truck roared like its namesake beast and crushed cars like pop cans. Not much has changed in 20 years: Bigfoot’s still around, terrorizing junk cars nationwide. This weekend, Bigfoot rumbles into Loveland for the Monster Truck Winter Nationals and Motocross Races at the Budweiser Events Center. Monster trucks, ATVs and motorcycles buzz around the arena all evening, making it a gearhead’s paradise. Saturday. Celebrate African-American History Month in music at the Denver Library Saturday. Local musician and educator Justin Miera presents “All That Jazz,” a discussion of African- American cultures and their influence on music, from spirituals to rap. Audience participation is key.
