The Colorado Governor’s Energy Office has established a $1 million matching grant fund to develop local solar power and solar hot- water rebate and training programs.
The office will offer matching grants of up to $25,000 to municipalities, utilities and nonprofit organizations that encourage residential solar installations. The grants will be only for areas not served by Xcel Energy and Aquila, which have their own rebates.
