Frontier Airlines said its planes were 72.5 percent full in January, up from 65.2 percent from a year earlier and a record for the month.
This January, compared with the year-ago month, Frontier increased its capacity measured by available seat miles by 6.4 percent, while its traffic measured by revenue passenger miles increased 18.3 percent. Passenger yield, a measure of airline financial performance, increased 0.3 percent.
