A suspect in the burglary of a home in the 6800 block of Joiner Drive in Colorado Springs remains at large.
The police investigation determined that the suspect, John Fisher, 57, unlawfully entered the residence of Julius and Patricia Herring in what appears to have been an attempt to steal a vehicle from the couple’s garage.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’2″ tall, 235 lbs with grey hair and beard. He was last seen wearing a ski mask, dark grey pants, a dark hooded jacket with a fleece liner.
An arrest warrant for first-degree burglary has been issued for the suspect. The Colorado Springs Police Department asks anyone with information as to Fisher’s whereabouts, to contact them at (719)444-7000 or contact Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP. While no weapons were observed at the crime, Fisher is considered dangerous.
