A Douglas County elementary-school staff member who works in a computer lab allegedly took showers with two brothers several years ago when the boys were preteens, according to court documents.
Michael Patrick Willis, 36, has been placed on administrative leave from his position at Fox Creek Elementary School in Highlands Ranch. He has been charged with three counts of unlawful sexual conduct. Willis showered with the boys when they were about 10 years old and he was their baseball coach, one of the alleged victims, who is now 18, told Englewood police.
The allegations came to light recently when the 18-year-old was being interviewed during an Arapahoe County Juvenile Assessment Center program.
In the interview, the 18-year-old told an intake officer about the incidents, and police were contacted.
The second alleged victim has declined to talk with police about the allegations because “he’s extremely scared” of the defendant, according to an arrest affidavit.
The alleged showers happened about 25 times between April 2000 and June 2000 at Willis’ home, court documents said. Willis didn’t physically touch the alleged victim, the affidavit states, but he did masturbate while in the shower.
