A traffic accident in Aurora killed a driver Wednesday night and seriously injured another driver, police said.
Aurora Police said Johnny Gene Harding, 60, of Thornton, was driving north at about 8 p.m. on I-225 in a 2004 Dodge pickup truck when he crossed the center median near Iliff Avenue and crashed into and oncoming car.
The driver of the car, a 2003 Chevrolet pickup, died at the scene, police said. He has not been identified.
Harding was taken to a local hospital. Details on his injuries, or an update on his condition, were not available.
The accident is under investigation.
