Mountain roads a mess

Snow and wind made a mess out of mountain traveling Thursday night with multiple road closures, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

Among the closings on or near Interstate 70:

Westbound and eastbound I-70 between Georgetown and Avon.

U.S. 40 over Berthoud Pass.

U.S. 6 over Loveland Pass.

U.S. 285 between Fairplay and Kenosha Pass.

Colorado Highway 91 from Copper Mountain to Leadville.
