OAK CREEK, Colo.—Firefighters say one man may be dead after a Routt County house exploded.
Oak Creek Fire Protection District Chief Chuck Wisecup says crews are still trying to reach the man, who is trapped in the rubble.
No other injuries have been reported.
Wisecup says a propane tank is the likely cause of the Wednesday morning explosion, which blew out the walls and caused the roof to cave in. All the windows were blown out of a van parked outside.
Oak Creek is about 15 miles south of Steamboat Springs and 100 miles west of Denver.
