The Colorado health department is telling salad lovers to pause before the pour, particularly if they bought Annie’s Naturals Shiitake & Sesame Vinaigrette Dressing between Dec. 20 and Feb.12.

The dressing contains — but does not list among its ingredients — soy, wheat and sesame, so people who have allergies or sensitivities to those products are at risk, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment warned today.

The Napa, Calif., company voluntarily recalled 686 cases though no reports of illnesses have occured so far, according to the health department.

The recalled 8-ounce bottles have a front label that says “Shiitake & Sesame Vinaigrette,” while the back label and ingredient statement says “Low-Fat Honey Mustard Vinaigrette.”

Only 8-oz. bottles with UPC code 0-92325-33319-2 and a “Best By” date of Feb. 2-0/1/E and Feb. 2-0/2/E.

Those who bought the products can return the bottles to the store for a full refund or call Annie’s Naturals Consumer Relations at 1-800-288-1089 to get a coupon for a free replacement. Consumers also can call the Colorado health department’s consumer protection division at 303-692-3620.
