A 43-year-old Englewood woman was killed when the car she was driving was rammed head-on by a car driven by a 63-year-old Lakewood man early today.
The accident occurred at 2:25 a.m. at Wadsworth Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue in Lakewood, just south of Hampden Avenue, police said.
Colorado State Police said vehicular homicide charges are pending against Martin Lewis, whose car rammed into one driven by Malissa Coenen. She died at the scene. Lewis suffered minor injuries.
Police said alcohol may have been involved in the accident.
