The 21st Governor’s Cup cross country ski race will be Sunday at Devil’s Thumb Ranch near Winter Park.
Racers have their choice of 10- and 20-kilometer freestyle cross country races or 5K and 10K snowshoe races. There also is a 1K kids’ race. Races begin at 10 a.m.
The cost is $35 before race day, $45 on race day. Included in the registration fee is a trail pass, a T-shirt, feed stations along the courses and a post-race barbecue with live music. Kids 18 and younger are free. Entrants can register in advance online (www.active.com) or by calling Devil’s Thumb Ranch Adventure Center (800-933-4339).
